[08/15/2001] Team Mustang Cruises Woodward

This Friday, August 17th, Team Mustang is hosting an event in Ferndale, Michigan to kick off the Woodward Dream Cruise festivities. The event dubbed, Fast Friday, will begin with an open to the public Team Mustang meeting at World Ford Headquarters at exactly 8 AM. The meeting will also include talks by Dario Orlando from Steeda, who is the maker of the popular aftermarket Steeda Mustang, and by Austin Craig from J. Walter Thompson, who is Ford''s marketing and advertising agency. Following the meeting everyone will assemble at 10 AM for an all Mustang cruise to Woodward Avenue to the Team Mustang lot located on the east side of Woodward between 9 Mile Road and East Troy. At Noon the event will begin and will feature a barbecue, car show, and other entertainment sponsored by Team Mustang.

On Saturday, those given passes Friday morning can return to either the lot at just West of Troy behind the post office in Ferndale, or to a second lot they will have this year located at on the West side of Woodward Avenue off 9 Mile Road. However, be aware that check-in is from 6 AM to 8:30 AM. There will be entertainment, contests, food, and show judging throughout the day.
