Extra Information from the Owner
11/30/2011: No significant changes to ET/MPH; hope to switch to auto trans next year.

11/30/2010: Unable to improve ET/mph; need new tires and auto trans.

11/21/09: Finally in the 10's after about 10 years of trying. Still on pony rims w/MT DRs. Upgraded to Si blower impeller. May go to automatic now to get into the 9's.

11/29/08: Made it to the track 2 times but did not improve ET or mph. Purchased AIS meth kit but had problems; will try again nxt year.

11/17/07: Made a couple of easy passes grannyshifting; there is a lot more left in the tune as the AF ratio is only 10/1; mph 128; should go low to mid tens with better tune and slicks.

11/06: I got the car out only a couple of times;best pass in Nov 11.23 @ 128.45 on MT DRs with 1.75 60ft

11/05: End of year update: Spent the last year in three different performance shops trying to get the car put together (many problems). Made one aborted pass at the end of the year. I'm hoping to make it run in '06.

01/05: Lots of new parts installed.

11/09/04: Finally got pictures of the car and engine uploaded to the site. However, they are now obsolete as I have spent the entire past year upgrading the car. A new motor, transmission and roll cage have been installed. Will provide new pics and vehicle specs at a later date.

11/25/03: End of year update. Did not make it back to the track after last run in Oct. Looks like the piston rings are bad; too much blow-by and poor oil control. I will try to upgrade to a R302 based stroker motor for next Spring. Also need a roll cage and drag suspension.

10/03/03: Improved best mph tonight to 122.56. The DA was about (-)250 ft.

09/20/03: Finally got into the 11's due to better traction (60ft). There's a lot left in the tune and will eventually get the drag suspension. Killed at lot of F-bodies and a Z06 today. It was nice!

09/10/03: Went to Cecil Co. trying for 11's; best was 12.06, need traction devices DA 950 ft. Added AFM power stack filter and FRPP billet flywheel.

05/30/03; Well I got a lot of new stuff put on the car including the blower; finally. Feels great after several years of waiting. First time out, short-shifting at 5400 rpms. Mile per hour is great and there still a lot left in the combo. With traction I should get into the low 11's with a drag suspension.

11/30/02: End of year update; improved mph to 109.64 on 11/24 at Capitol Raceway. Had car dynoed in October. I think I lost a few hp with the King Cobra clutch. I am definitely over 300 at the track with the ram air and icing the intake. I did not ice the intake during the dyno session. As it turns out, the fuel pressure and timing were already optimized with seat of the pants tuning (based on street driving) as we could not improve the numbers from baseline during the dyno session. Next Spring, I hope to install the Vortech S-trim blower.

09/14/02: New bests at Cecil County Dragway. Still getting use to the 4:10's; set the shift point lower because I was overreving the motor at each gear exchange.

07/21/02: Had some fun at 75-80 Dragway today at the All Ford event. I won the bracket racing class (ETK). I was seeing the tree well as I made about six passes with RTs in the 0.501-0.585 range. 3 ft trophy was nice.

May 2002: First time out with the coupe since swapping motors with the conv. Ran high 12's right out of the box even with the stock 3.08 gears. I will install the 4:10 gears and get the suspension set up; should be able to get low 12's after that.

04/2002: Cobra motor removed and put into LX. The convertible gets the stock motor, crank under drive pulley, MAC shorty headers, flowmaster catback, subframes and 3.55 gears. Its probably a solid 14 sec car, but I will no longer run at the track now that I have the coupe set up.
