Extra Information from the Owner
The person I bought it from said it was an orig.6 cyl. When I bought her, she had a 289 with a top loader 4 speed, and the first time I ran it, got a 17.5 in the 1/4 mile. In a years time I worked it down to a 15.8 the motor had great top end power but no bottom. it felt slow ,so I found an 86 5.0 and changed it to carb. put a c4 behind it with a 2500 stall.By the way the stall took 1 sec off my times N/A ..with traction I should be in the 12's easy. Since 2004 i am no longer the owner of this car.
