Default 82 wont start

i have an 82 with a 2.3 4 cyl. it wont start. everything is connected, the carb is gettin fuel, sparkplugs and wires are fine, but it still wont start. any ideas would be very helpful.

First thing I would do is make sure you are getting spark. Pull a plug wire off and hold it just above the plug while someone cranks the car.

Have you checked under the timing belt cover to make sure the timing belt is still tight/intact? Also like dark 5.0 said, check to make sure there is in fact, spark.

Has this car always had this problem since you've had it, or is it a recent problem?

tnx guys i found the problem. the spark plugs were gapped so damn far apart it wouldnt fire at all. that will teach me to let someone else work on my cars. thanks for the help.
